Privexa Secure Internal 2.5-inch SATA SSD
Privexa Secure Internal 2.5-inch SATA SSD
Encrypted internal storage that stays locked until you unlock it
The Privexa Secure Internal SSD provides fast internal storage protected with VeraCrypt encryption. It is designed to be installed as an additional storage drive inside a compatible desktop or laptop—not as the computer’s primary Windows drive.
The encrypted storage remains inaccessible until you open VeraCrypt and enter the correct password. Once unlocked, the SSD becomes available in Windows like a regular storage drive for documents, photographs, videos, business files, backups and other sensitive information.
How It Works
After the SSD is installed inside a compatible computer, open VeraCrypt and select the encrypted drive. Choose an available drive letter, enter your password and mount the encrypted volume.
Once unlocked, the protected SSD appears in Windows like a normal storage drive. You can open, save, transfer and organize files normally.
When finished, dismount the encrypted volume through VeraCrypt. The drive becomes inaccessible again and its stored contents remain encrypted until the correct password is entered.
Additional Internal Storage
This product is intended to function as an additional internal storage drive. It does not include Windows and is not designed to replace the computer’s primary operating-system drive.
Your computer continues to start from its existing Windows drive. The Privexa Secure Internal SSD becomes available separately after it is unlocked and mounted through VeraCrypt.
Your Password Stays Under Your Control
You create your own private encryption password during setup. Privexa does not need to know or retain that password.
VeraCrypt does not provide a traditional “forgot password” recovery option. If your password is forgotten and no recovery information exists, the encrypted files may become permanently inaccessible.
Customers are responsible for securely remembering their password and maintaining separate backups of important files.

Important Security Information
Encryption helps protect the information stored on the SSD while the VeraCrypt volume is dismounted. It cannot protect files while the encrypted drive is unlocked or when the computer itself is compromised.
- Use a long and unique encryption password
- Never store the password on the encrypted SSD
- Dismount the encrypted volume after use
- Keep VeraCrypt and Windows updated
- Avoid unlocking the drive on an untrusted computer
- Maintain a separate backup of irreplaceable files
